3 Fantasy Corsets I’m Lusting Over, Right Now
It’s been a while since I last dedicated a post to corsetry but be reassured, my love for them hasn’t waned. Like most of you, I lust regularly over items I desperately “need” in my life but realistically can’t have (yes, even the Lingerie Stylist can’t have it all), but thankfully I have a wonderful outlet for channelling these desires!! So here, I give you my current 3 favourite corsets;
Sparklewren – Sugared Leopard Corset
Admittedly I’m not usually one for wearing leopard print but somehow this corset is calling out my inner feline! Sparklewren creates beautiful bespoke corsetry but also has an Etsy store where select items can be bought straight away, or pre-ordered. I love the plunge neckline on the Sugared Leopard Corset but I also love how gold lace is laid over the animal print for a really opulent feel.
Karolina Laskowska’s DMU Corset Project!
If you’re a hardcore lingerie-thusiast you will already have heard of Karolina Laskowska (and possibly read her interview with Lingerie Stylist), but if you haven’t, don’t worry. Karolina is studying lingerie design at DMU but her designs are fabulous and already making waves in the world of lingerie. As far as I know this corset is unnamed and was part of a course project but I cannot get it out of my mind! The juxtaposition of lime trim on a seemingly classic underbust corset is just divine. I also love the lace placement, which is often featured in Laskowska’s designs. Dreamy!
Madame Sher – Elizabeth Taylor
I recently discovered MadameSher through The Lingerie Addict blog and I’m loving the starlet inspired range of corsets. My favourite is this ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ design, inspired by arguably one of the most beautiful women of all time. The corset is very glamorous but also hopelessly lingerie inspired and I think it would look wonderful in and outside the bedroom.
